Photography as a protagonist on the social media
It´s a fact that photography takes a great presence in the ground of social media, not only as a complement of texts and news but also as a content itself: the art of photography attracts many users and communicators because, above all, is one of the strongest ways of self-expression. Doing some research, I have found some inspirational proffesionals of this world that show their work in different social media platforms.
Instagram:
Theron Humphrey, from Nashville, Tenessee, has 1,2 million followers on his Instagram account because of his peculiar idea of sharing his photographs. With a van and his dog, Maddie, he is driving a road trip across the United States from Utah to Illinois, using his pet as a model to show the travel through the dog´s perspective. His technique is very original and perfected and he has edited a book that has arisen from the exit from the Instagram publications.

The famous photographer based in New York has focused on the art of lighting and water effects and capturing instants with a magical atmosphere. In his website we can see his portfolio of pictures, the before and after of his creations, and a link to buy his first photo-book titled Luminescence, which includes interviews, materials and content about the 'behind the scenes' moments.

Desiree Delgado is a photographer, digital artist and youtuber with 234926 subscribers on her youtube channel dedicated to teach photography and make this art be understood as a philosophy of life. In her videos you can find vlogs, step by step tutorials, hauls of materials and 'making of' sketchs of her sessions. One of her most famous videos is her '365 days project of making photos', in which she does a daily session for a whole year.

This magazine edited by Bowens (a company dedicated to the design and fabrication of products related to the photography lighting) is published three times a year and the main issue is the camera lighting and tricks for the photos. It includes articles and interviews made to proffesionals in the ambit of photography. A great publication for anyone interested in improving the quality of his photos.
