Creating a blog and posting weekly was quite an entertaining experience. It helped me to develop my technological abilities by learning how to post gifs, videos and hypertexts. I chose a topic which was quite unknown for me, and searching/investigating photography helped me to gain knowledge. I was interested in photography but I never had the time to get started, so this blog was the perfect opportunity to learn more about it.  1st blog entry:  Introduction to photography http://focusthroughthelens.blogspot.com.es/2017/09/photography-1st-blog-entry.html Best photography work in the last 6 months http://focusthroughthelens.blogspot.com.es/2017/10/photographies-have-evolved-throughout.html Photographers in social media http://focusthroughthelens.blogspot.com.es/2017/10/photographers-in-social-media.html 4th blog entry:  Damon Winter http://focusthroughthelens.blogspot.com.es/2017/10/4th-entry-damon-winter.html Recommended webpages http://focusthrought...

MY BLOG POSTS 1.  PHOTOGRAPHY AND ME 2.  THE ART OF OBSERVATION 3.  WHERE TO START 4.  SEBASTIÃO  SALGADO 5.  PHOTOGRAPHY IN SOCIAL MEDIA 6.  2017 MASTERPIECES MY EXPERIENCE BLOGGING This was my first time blogging, so this experience was new to me. I had an idea of what it could be like, and even though some things were exactly like I expected them, some others have surprised me, both in a good and in a bad way.  I honestly never liked the idea of having a blog. I enjoy reading them, but I was never tented ti create one myself. This experience has taught me that, even though it does require a lot of work, it is something I can enjoy. From the moment I started to be comfortable with this format, posting regularly became much easier, and I even wanted this project to be longer. I know I'm probably never going to create another blog, but in case I do, I am happy to know that I actually like this format more than I expected...

1. 'We keep this love in a photograph' MY EXPERIENCE BLOGGING: Although I had been on blogger before (I have a personal blog of reflexions and own texts about life...etc), this experience blogging during the last six, seven weeks has given me some knowledge I did not know before. After this time, i have learned to introduce links with other names (hypertext), videos and change the design of the blog. Also, it has made me improve in searching in different sources and verifying the credibility of the content. We have got used to be constant and punctual in publishing our posts, too. Moreover, it has been a challenge for me to learn more and more every week about the photography world and try to shape it in an entertaining way. To be added, we have worked hard on taking decisions in group and organizing the tasks, which is a very important aspect for any job in the journalist ground. In conclusion, I have learned a lot related to technological...

The art of blogging   Outstanding photos 2017 Social media for photographers Steve Mccurry, famous photographer Useful tools for photography and editing El buitre africano Why I´m in love with photography Blogging is undoubtedly one of the activities which one never imagines the hard work it requires.  Although it is super fun, you must master your topic as you have to take care of your content along with creativity to reach people´s interest. You also need to be as constant as pacient.  Followers are gained from regular and interesting entries but they are not gained neither fast,  nor easy.   I believe the key to success lies in enjoying your work. When one does what he or she loves, the result will always positive. - Ana Sofía Piña de los Reyes

It showed me how important it is to be constant and relevant. As someone once said, nobody cares about what you do, so its my job to make people care and show interest on whatever I am writing. Writing about different topics helped me have a broader knowledge of the topic, I learned more about  something I am really passionate. The hardest thing, in my opinion, was to be continuous. If the reader is engaged in your writing, they will expect more of it. The writer has to maintain some kind of order in their posting for the reader to stay. For example each Friday night, the reader expects a new blog post from mysel...

2017 MASTERPIECES

NEW MASTERPIECES Every day, the world is filled with thousands of new pictures. Some of them stand out from the rest because of their quality, originality, message, etc. Sometimes it's just a small element that makes them different, but being able to find that special characteristic while taking a photo is what makes great photographers gain their reputation.  Taking a picture is quite simple, but taking and outstanding and breath taking photo is not an easy task, and that's when the distinction between amateur and professional photographer is made. Here are some examples of phenomenal images, all of them taken in the last few months. 1. COLIMA VOLCANO This photography of a lighting hitting an erupting volcano received the credit deserved when it was selected the winner of the National Geographic travel photography contest . It was taken by the Mexican  Sergio Tapiro Velasco 2. SHOOTING STAR This shooting star traveling over Belgium was ...

Best photography work in the last 6 months

Photographies have evolved throughout the years into an art full of beauty. Nowadays the profession of photographer has evolved into a very complex work, where you have to make sure that you're original to stand out. Some pictures have a specific quality which makes them special due to the lightning, situation or type of lens. Today I'm subjectively selecting the ones that need more recognition and have been taken over the last six months. Trentino/Going green - Simone Bravante I consider that Simone Bravante's photographies are the most outstanding ones taken in the last six months. He loves taking pics in the outdoors and play with perspectives. This profesional photograph is very diverse, though the pics I've chosen from him have similar aesthetics as they both form part of the same gallery. Both pictures contain dull tones of green and blue, which adds a nostalgic quality to his work.  I've chosen another pic from him from one of his most...
