PHOTOGRAPHY AND ME
Ever since I can remember, I’ve been in love with cameras and everything related to them. Whenever my parents would bring their old Canon with them and start taking pictures of my sister and me, I always found the perfect excuse to get my hands into the camera and start photographing everything around me.
My sister and I even got some old cameras without film roll to play with! (Yes, camera cartridges still existed, in the end, we are the last generation of the XXth century 😂) I was the happiest girl in the world with that toy!
Currently, I own three cameras. The first one I got was a small, purple Nikon coolpix, which I don't use anymore. The second one is actuallly the only one I use. It's a Canon 1300D and I basically begged for it for years and when I got it as a present, I got so excited I use it almost every day ever since. The last one is the most precious and valuable. It was given to me as a gift from my grandmother when my grandpa passed away. He bought it for her while they were still dating, and it is the most meaningfull thing I own.
At a young age, I loved both
being in front and behind cameras, but as I get older, I realize my true
passion is capturing moments, so that I can always go back and look at them.
Nowadays, I usually take
pictures of my friends and family, but I'm also into wild life and landscapes,
and I’m willing to learn and improve as much as I can about nature photography.
Summing up, I think it's safe to say that I've always seen and lived life through the lens.
